What is PLDO?
One of the ways the County provides parks for its growing population is through the Park Land Dedication Ordinance (PLDO). Established in 1972, the program requires new residential development projects to dedicate park land and/or pay park impact fees to the County. All PLDO funds collected are used to create recreational facilities and programs that serve the community.
Help the LCPG provide feedback to the County on how the PLDO Funds should be spent over the next five years.
Please complete the survey below to help the Lakeside CPG and the County Department of Parks and Recreation determine how the PLDO funds will be used.
